Номинативные источники в контексте всемирной истории

Аннотация


В статье на широком фактическом материале впервые представлен комплексный анализ эволюции системы учета населения в мире. Акцент сделан на выявлении особенностей в традициях сбора информации о населении в странах Запада и России: рассмотрен этап создания ранних переписей; переход от статистических к номинативным переписям и процесс развития международной стандартизации; выдвинута гипотеза о том, что практика регистрации населения пришла в Европу из России. Важную роль в формулировании базовых принципов проведения современных переписей сыграл бельгийский академик Адольф Кетле, а благодаря развитию международного сотрудничества в области организации переписей практика их проведения утвердилась в большинстве стран.

Учет населения осуществлялся и в рамках регистрации жизненно важных событий в метрических книгах. Помимо этого, часть стран вела ежегодно обновляемые реестры населения, начиная с XVIII в. В XXI в. часть стран Запада перешла к практике создания реестров населения для конструирования своих национальных переписей. Объединение данных переписей с информацией из метрических книг и других номинативных источников дает уникальную возможность конструирования исторически непрерывных реестров населения.

Поскольку круг номинативных источников на Западе уже выявлен, оцифрован и в значительной степени введен в научный оборот, а в России этот процесс только начинается, можно утверждать, что будущее исторической демографии находится в России.
