The article analyzes theses on the Literatures of Foreign Countries (speciality code 10.01.03) defended between 2012 and 2014. The author names the leading research centres for specialists in Western-European and American (US) literature, as well as singles out priorities in the study of this or that national literature, determining the most topical directions of research in the sphere in question.
В представленной статье дается аналитика диссертационных работ, защищенных по специальности 10.01.03 «Литература народов стран зарубежья». Автор обозначает ведущие центры подготовки специалистов по изучению западноевропейской и американской (США) литератур, выделяет приоритеты в исследовании той или иной национальной литературы, определяет актуальные направления исследований в указанной области.

The article considers the state of things in the sphere of studying of the Romance and Germanic languages in Russian linguistics, enumerating the most significant works on them published in the recent years. The author is critical of the general tendencies of the development of the aforementioned spheres of linguistics, namely, the decreasing significance of comparative linguistics, an increased attention to cognitive linguistics as well as the study of speech phenomena. The author pays special attention to the problems underlying the teaching of young researchers, and the publication of up-to-date educational literature.
В статье рассматривается состояние изучения романских и германских языков в современном отечественном языкознании, указываются наиболее существенные отечественные работы по романистике и германистике за последние годы, критически анализируются общие тенденции развития этих отраслей лингвистики: утрата позиций сравнительно-исторического языкознания, рост интереса к когнитивной лингвистике, изучению речевых явлений. Особое внимание уделяется проблемам подготовки молодых исследователей, создания современной учебной литературы.
