Сезонность младенческой смертности в Барнауле во второй половине XIX — начале XX в. (по материалам метрических книг)

Аннотация


В статье проведен анализ сезонной специфики младенческой смертности и определены периоды повышенной уязвимости детей к неблагоприятным факторам в течение года. Оценен уровень младенческой смертности и вклад различных причин в формирование ситуации со смертностью. На основе базы данных по материалам метрических книг Барнаула проанализирована выборка смертей за 1869–1911 гг. Для России этого периода был характерен высокий уровень младенческой смертности, а для Сибири и, в частности, Барнаула — сверх­высокий. В начале XX в. в Европейской России и на Урале началось снижение смертности детей до 1 года. В Барнауле темпы снижения были значительно ниже. Коэффициенты сезонности младенческой смертности показали усиление летальности младенцев в период с мая по август с пиковыми значениями в июне. На летние месяцы приходится 50,8 % смертей, на весенние — 21,7 %, на зимние — 15 % и на осенние — 12,5 %. В летний период более 80 % случаев в структуре младенческой смертности являлись последствием инфекционных и кишечных заболеваний при подавляющем весе кишечных инфекций (79 %). Наибольшая часть умерших от респираторных заболеваний приходится на весну, на втором месте — зимняя летальность, на третьем — осенняя. Коэффициент сезонности детской смертности (1–4 года) показывает высокие значения, приходящиеся на июнь и июль. Младенческая смертность летом была выше детской в 1,4 раза и общей смертности — в 2,1. Четверть младенческой смертности приходилась на новорожденных. Сверхуровень коэффициента младенческой смертности в Барнауле обеспечивался в первую очередь постнеонатальной смертностью.
