Каноническая позиция папства в деле патриарха Акакия Константинопольского

Аннотация


В статье делается попытка определить возможный состав канонов, на которые опирались римские папы Феликс III (483-492) и Геласий (492-496) в деле осуждения Константинопольского патриарха Акакия, приведшего к дли-тельному расколу между Римом и Церквами Востока (484-519). Согласно утверждениям папы Геласия римская позиция основывалась на канонических основаниях, однако им не уточнялось на каких именно. Автором статьи устанавливается примерный состав канонических и гражданско-правовых норм, из которых папы теоретически могли выводить свое право вмешиваться судить предстоятелей других архиепископских кафедр. Автор статьи приходит к выводу о том, что папская позиция была в сущности совершенно неканоничной.
